I am a helper at heart and happiest when I have my hands on a keyboard. Consideration for others has always guided my work, across every industry I’ve been part of.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with minors in Technical Writing and Business Administration. Over my career, I have held roles that broadened my skills and taught me to adapt quickly to different industries and software applications. I have worked as a trainer, technical writer and editor, business analyst, software support specialist, and server administrator.
I once took a detour from IT to start a pet aquamation business that thrived within the local eco-friendly community. Helping families through some of their hardest days and caring for their pets during their last journey was deeply meaningful and rewarding.
Later, I chose to continue supporting grieving families working with in-home euthanasia veterinary practices. One practice gave me the opportunity to revisit my IT skills by redesigning their online forms, refining workflows, and creating a more streamlined experience for clients and care coordinators. Getting my hands back on a keyboard and making life easier for others renewed my energy and focus on providing thoughtful solutions for both businesses and their clients.
Outside of work, I adore animals and antiques. My favorite quiet moments are curled up with a good book and a cat in my lap.
How can I help you?
Warmly,
~Karin
